Most competitors sell a low base price, then charge separately for the features that make the base price usable.
| Capability | Ergis | Typically elsewhere |
|---|---|---|
| GPS-verified punches | Included | Often a paid add-on module |
| Advanced reporting | Included | Often a paid add-on module |
| Team messaging / swap requests | Included | Often a paid add-on module |
| Manager dashboard | Included | Sometimes limited to higher tiers |
Competitor pricing and packaging changes over time and varies by plan. This reflects how these features are typically sold, not a guaranteed current price list.
Pricing questions
Why does the per-employee rate drop as we grow?
Support and infrastructure costs don't scale linearly with headcount, so the price doesn't either. Bigger teams get a lower per-employee rate instead of being pushed into a higher tier.
Do I lose any features on the smallest band?
No. Every band gets every feature — scheduling, GPS punches, the manager dashboard, shift swaps, payroll export, and multi-location support. The only thing that changes is the price per employee.
What counts as an employee for billing?
Anyone with an active account in a given billing period, including part-time and seasonal staff. Remove someone and they stop counting the next cycle.
What if we're over 200 employees?
Talk to us. At that size we'll work out a custom rate directly rather than force you through a standard band.
